About Dr. Aravanis – Meet The Doctor

Plastic surgeon Georgios Aravanis graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1990. He continued his training in General Surgery at the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens and the Sismanoglio General Hospital. Subsequently, he specialized in Plastic Surgery at the Agios Savas Hospital and the General Hospital of Athens "G. Gennimatas." Dr. Aravanis then went on to study for several years next to the leading Greek plastic surgeon Andreas Foustano at the Iaso Hospital and the plastic surgeon Spyros Laza at the Hygeia Hospital. During his residency, he frequently visits the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University Hospital of Liège in Belgium, where he collaborates with distinguished plastic surgeons.

He received his Medical Specialty Degree title in Plastic Surgery in 2000 after completing his examination.

Mr. Aravanis has served for many years as Deputy Director and Director of the Department of Plastic Surgery of the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens.

Today the doctor works in the private sector.

Georgios Aravanis specializes in all areas of Cosmetic Surgery procedures (face, breast, body, etc.) and Reconstructive Surgery. He has published many studies in scientific journals on plastic surgery and appeared at many Greek and International scientific conferences. He has been honored with a first-place award by the Hellenic Society of Plastic Surgery for a research presentation held at the 4th Panhellenic Congress in 1999.

In 2014 the doctor founded the company "Cryoesthetics."

Georgios Aravanis is a member of the Medical Association of Athens, the Hellenic Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (HESPRAS), and the International Society of Aesthetic Surgery (ISAPS).
